Watering Holes

It's one big party at the Yardhouse, which features over 100 beers on tap, great food, and a very lively atmosphere. What goes on at the Yardhouse, stays at....(burp...scyooz' me...) the Yard House. |
Please follow the links to explore the wide variety of places to drink and be merry on Oahu, Hawaii:
These spots are similar to those in the Dinner w/Drinks section of Hawaii Regional Cuisine, except a little more hard-core, so to speak. Some are sports bars hosting delegations of beer-swigging, uniformed football fanatics with eyeballs stuck to plasma-screened walls. Others are rock & roll-pounding Irish Pubs with real corned-beef sandwiches and super-dark Guinness on-tap. Yet, others are local restaurant/Karaoke bars where some of the most popular dishes are edamame, poke, and Portuguese sausage fried rice.
On the other hand, if that all sounds a bit crude, there are yet options for you cultured folk: Lewer’s Lounge at the Halekulani can boast of itself as being the picture of sophistication and class, while three other spots listed in this section are all trendy, stylish, and educated spots where wine takes center stage. They include the Amuse self-serve wine bar, Vino’s, and Formaggio’s.
Other sections that are extremely drink-friendly, besides the Dinner w/Drinks section, are the American Casual Restaurants and both sushi and izakaya sections of Japanese Foods.
Prices listed here are only for food, not drinks!
Da Big Boy’z: Formaggio’s and Vino are tops for wine, although there's no denying the fun at Amuse Wine Bars' self-serve wine towers; Yard House for draft beer; Mai Tai Bar for a bit of a younger crowd and a hip island scene; Side St., Therapy, and Kanpai for a very-local scene and the latest in local-style grindz.
